A Place to Call Home

The Lexington Theatre Company’s Comprehensive Campaign

For nearly a decade, The Lexington Theatre Company has been on a journey fueled by a commitment to our mission of creating professional theatre and training the next generation of theatre artists, so that our community can enjoy a shared experience of masterful storytelling.

We’ve worked tirelessly, creating unforgettable moments of theatrical magic in rented spaces scattered across Lexington. Yet, through it all, there’s been a longing for something more...

A place to call our own — 2323 Alexandria Drive.

We are thrilled to share with you an exciting chapter in the journey of The Lexington Theatre Company. We’ve secured an existing building at 2323 Alexandria Drive to serve as our company’s first-ever home. Through a lease-to-own agreement and the launch of our Comprehensive Campaign, we’re taking the initial steps toward establishing this space as our forever home.

Hundreds of artists work with The Lex each year—from Broadway professionals to up-and-coming talent from around the country to our Central Kentucky students ages 3 to 55+. Thousands of arts patrons engage with our programming each season. Providing a new home for both artists and audiences to continue their creative journey will be game-changing for both The Lexington Theatre Company and our Central Kentucky arts landscape.
