Jersey Boys

 
  • For Jersey Boys, our very experienced Four Seasons included Joey LaVarco (Jersey Boys National Tour and Off-Broadway at New World Stages) as Frankie Valli, Tyler Okunski (Jersey Boys at Cape Playhouse and Casa Mañana) as Bob Gaudio, Nick Bernardi (Jersey Boys at Theatre Aspen and the Engeman) as Tommy DeVito and Caleb Albert (Jersey Boys at Arts Center of Coastal Carolina and Ivoryton Playhouse) as Nick Massi. 

    Broadway's John Leone revisited the role of Gyp DeCarlo, having played the part (along with covering 6 others) dozens of times as a swing in the original Broadway production of Jersey Boys, before eventually taking over the role of Nick Massi in that company.

    Supporting roles for Jersey Boys were played by Eliza Levy (Francine), Jacqueline Neeley (Mary), Katherine Tabisz (Lorraine), Wesley Byers (Hank Majewski), Jacob Canderozzi (Norm Waxman), Nathaniel Mahone (Barry Belson), Marc Pavan (Bob Crewe) and Matt Villar (Joe Pesci).

    The ensemble was comprised of students/graduates from across the country including Jesse Hanks (The Univ. of Oklahoma), Abby Hesselroth (The Univ. of Oklahoma), Dan Klimko (Univ. of Cincinnati - CCM), Daryn Polzin (Oklahoma City University), and Anthony Savino (Montclair State University), with Sarah Collins (SCAPA Lafayette) joining the Ensemble as a High School Apprentice.

  • Patrick O'Neill (The School of Rock) directed and choreographed Jersey Boys and Nathan Fister (Radio City Christmas Spectacular) joined the production as Associate Director/Choreographer. The Lex Resident Music Director, Brock Terry, music directed and conducted The Lex Orchestra, comprised of spectacular instrumentalists from across Central Kentucky.

    Additional Creative Team Members include Tanya Harper (Lighting Design), Marcus Ross (Sound Design), Kevin D. Nedberg (Production Coordinator), Brandon T. Holmes (Production Stage Manager), Elizabeth Payne (Wardrobe Supervisor for the season and Costume Designer for Jersey Boys), Laura Swygert (Stage Manager), Michael Rintamaa (Rehearsal Accompanist), Christina Haffler (Costume Shop Floor Manager), Esther Neel (Props Coordinator), Jeff Richardson (Assistant Lighting Designer), Will Goodlett (Assistant Technical Director) and Susan Jones (ASL Interpretation.)

  • The Lex Resident Music Director, Brock Terry, conducted The Lex Orchestra, comprised of spectacular instrumentalists from across Central Kentucky.

    Kevin Case, Casey DeMattina, Jason Dovel, Luke Jackson, Jerram John, Daniel Outlaw, Paul Reich, Michael Rintimaa, and Jeremiah True.

  • Participants in the College Intern/Apprentice/Observer Program included Crayton Haney (Webster University) and Julia Sutherland (Univ. of Kentucky) as Administrative Interns, Rachel Mondschein (Syracuse University) as Stage Management Intern, Spencer Stanley (Univ. of Cincinnati - CCM) as Music Intern, JT Baniak (The Ohio State University) and Noah Funderburk (Wright State University) as Technical Production Interns, and Abby Barrientes (Univ. of Cincinnati - CCM), Hart Hallos (Columbia University), and Kaja Jaques (Asbury University) as Wardrobe Interns.

    For Jersey Boys, Vykai Forrester (Bryan Station High School) joined as Music Apprentice, Kendra Bertram (Univ. of Kentucky) as a Direction Observer and Rosa Maria Hislop (Butler University) as a Choreography Observer.
